The purpose of the colony is for mining, researching, and harnessing energy. We could also use E62 is something were to happen to Earth like if global warming were to affect Earth.
About
The surface of Europa is frozen, covered with a layer of ice, leading scientists to believe there is a very active ocean beneath the surface of this intriguing moon.
Missions
In 2020 we sent a space rover to Europa to pick up minerals and look for possible life forms. We also have the Europa Clipper orbiting Europa taking pictures of the surface and possible life forms.

E62 is colony that was started on Jupiter's smallest Galilean moon, Europa, by Lauren Steiner, Matt Chorosevic, Cameron Elliot, and Chase Raupp.
